Iris Collective Group ("we," "us," "our") operates the NavFit Pro mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and password (or, if you use Sign in with Apple, the identifier and email Apple provides). Passwords are never stored in plain text.
Profile information. During onboarding you may provide your age range, sex, height, weight, activity level, fitness goals, experience level, dietary preferences, and health conditions (such as hypothyroid, Type 2 diabetes, MCAS, or PCOS). This information is optional beyond what's needed to calculate your calorie and macro targets, and is used solely to personalize your recommendations within the App.
Usage data. We store the nutrition and workout information you log in the App — meals, water intake, workout history, and (with your permission) daily step counts read from your device's motion sensors.
Subscription information. If you subscribe to NavFit Pro, your payment is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details — we only receive confirmation of your subscription status from Apple.
How We Use Your Information
- To create and maintain your account
- To calculate personalized calorie, macro, workout, and hydration targets
- To save your logged meals, workouts, and progress across sessions and devices
- To look up nutrition information via the USDA FoodData Central public database when you search for foods (only your search text is sent; no account or profile information is shared with USDA)
- To communicate with you about your account or the App, if necessary
Health Information
Some of the information you provide (such as health conditions) is sensitive personal information. We collect it only to adjust nutrition and calorie calculations and never sell or share it with advertisers. NavFit Pro is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice — always consult a qualified healthcare provider about your specific health conditions.
Third-Party Services
We use the following service providers to operate the App:
- Supabase — hosts our database and handles authentication. Your account and profile data is stored on Supabase's infrastructure and protected by access controls that restrict it to your account only.
- Apple — provides Sign in with Apple (optional login method) and processes all subscription payments through the App Store.
- USDA FoodData Central — a public U.S. government nutrition database we query when you search for foods.
Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your account and usage data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time directly within the App (Settings → Delete Account), or by contacting us at the email below.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain uses of it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information below.
Children's Privacy
NavFit Pro is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Security
We use industry-standard measures — including encrypted transport (HTTPS) and database-level access controls — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
